We try to understand these combinations, under the misunderstanding that it matters to the function of the whole, as if we have any type of control over it.

There are visceral synonyms between the gasses that create our universe, and the fact that we produce gas with our bodies. It is a fact that humans are obsessed with the whole concept of sh*t as either an object of humor, disgust, danger, or even worship. The most religious dialogue comes from people who are *ucking, and we tend to find ourselves running toward the meta-evil aspects of what was once a simple kiss on the cheek. Drawing correlation between those fanatically worshiping in a church, and those engaged in other ecstatic forms of activity is an effective way to describe the parallels that exist between these seemingly disparate activities. Whether it is a person transforming expletives into powerful fetishes by the suggestion of their badness, or pushing the envelope of scientific discovery to the edge of causing a black hole to swallow us all
